These stables in Wiltshire were suffering from a serious problem with Housemartins. The Martins were building nests directly above the stable doors which in turn was causing a large build up of droppings on the ground and was also contaminating the horses food.

After discussions with the owners about the Housemartin’s preservation status, we elected to install netting only to the areas directly above the stable doors and windows. This ensured the safety of the horses and stable hands but also enable the Housemartins to continue nesting in the area.
